Whispering Winds is a full-service charitable organization dedicated to providing touch therapy to individuals suffering from life altering illness.
We achieve results by providing personal care in an atmosphere that respects the needs and dignity of every patient. We serve people across the spectrum, from infants to the elderly, without regard to race, ethnicity, creed, gender, or sexual orientation, and we maintain a friendly, fair, and creative environment that respects diversity, ideas, and hard work.
We provide treatment to those within our community and in hospitals, clinics, and wellness centers who need our services but cannot afford the expense. Therefore, we provide our expertise and therapy free of charge.
Traci Doran Hawkins has many years of experience in massage and touch for life therapy, and recognizes the need for healing in the global community. She knows that people from all walks of life need assistance, and she built Whispering Winds so that anyone can get the help they need and truly deserve. No one is turned away.
Her commitment to this work is personal as well as professional. Traci is the daughter of the late Tommy Hawkins, the former Los Angeles Lakers forward and Notre Dame basketball star who went on to a long career in sports broadcasting and public relations. His legacy of service and connection to the community inspired the entire body of work of Whispering Winds, shaping an approach that treats every patient not as a diagnosis, but as a person deserving of comfort, dignity, and care.
